Rock Lobster and Shirt Dresses
Being from the East Coast, I know consuming a lobster roll at the beginning of summer is like a right of passage. It brings you closer to your Eastern roots and is the only time paying $20 for a sandwich doesn’t result in an eye roll. The great debate rages on in New York about which lobster roll is doing it best – Mary’s Fish Camp, Pearl Oyster Bar, Burger + Lobster, Ed’s Lobster Bar – to name, you know, just a few, but I’m team Luke’s.
Luke’s Lobster focuses heavily on that warm buttered bun and lobster. It’ll melt in your mouth, hands, and on your clothes, so consume with caution.
Okay, I resorted to a fork at one point, but it was to save this Amanda Uprichard shirt dress that I just snapped up and I’m loving. Shirt dresses have the ease of a baby doll but give a little more structure for the city streets. It was the perfect outfit to walk off that lobster roll and walk right into Madison Square Eats.
Hey, if it says chocolate, I’m like a moth to a flame.
